If the caesars Vespasian and Titus had the Coliseum in Rome not built as an arena, but rather
as a nuclear power station, with good care and good luck it had provided energy until the
times of Constantin the Great. Since then, it must be custoded by a highly responsible and
highly educated troup. This troup should have held her post of duty when the Huns threatened
Rome, and when the Vandals plundered it. They should have denied access to the Borgia Popes,
so these could not tamper with dangerous materials. (But then, who fed and paid said troup?)
They must not care for Napoleon or for Garibaldi. Only now, by and by the area could be
opened again.
Does anyone believe, this would have been possible?
Does anyone believe, this will be possible in future?
I do not.
