At dance communities there are three kinds of applause:
You clap your hands at the end of the dance. This improves the atmosphere a lot.
You pay for the caller/instructor and for the music, to show your appreciation.
You come back sometime soon. This is the most important kind of applause,
because without regular attendees no dance community can exist.
("Regular" does not mean "everytime", but at least
often enough to be remembered.)
