Antoine de Saint-Exupery stated, perfection was not achieved if nothing more could be added. Quite contrary, perfection was achieved if nothing more could be left away.
In this sense, here is the most perfect start for a One Night Party I could devise. And it took me years to come down that near to the grass roots.

Everybody into the center forward and back
Join hands, circle left
Everybody into the center forward and back
Circle right
Eight steps into the center
Eight steps back out
Find somebody, give both hands, circle two
- - - - Form a big circle again

I even danced this with wheelchairs. But in these cases I left out the phrasing.
